A Clear Pathway to Becoming an International Physician
The CEU School of Medicine offers a premier bilingual (English/Spanish) medical program. Upon completing the 6-year, 360-ECTS curriculum, students are awarded an official Spanish National Medical Degree. Starting from the third year, students enter clinical rotations at partner hospitals and begin rigorous preparation for the MIR (Spanish Medical Residency Exam). By graduation, you will possess independent clinical competencies, real-world MIR examination experience, and the eligible credentials to launch your medical career in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Why Choose CEU Medicine?
WFME International Accreditation: Your Gateway to the US, Canada, and Beyond
The CEU Medicine program holds international quality accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME)—jointly established by the WHO and WMA. This ensures our graduates possess the official academic eligibility required to directly enter license conversion pathways worldwide, including the ECFMG/USMLE (USA), MCCQE (Canada), AMC (Australia), and CHS (New Zealand).
U.S. Clinical Clerkships: A First in Spain
CEU is the first medical school in Spain to offer a dedicated U.S. Clinical Practice Program. Through our partnership with AMOpportunities, sixth-year students can undertake clinical rotations at top-tier teaching hospitals in New York and Chicago—providing invaluable clinical experience for those aiming to enter the U.S. Residency Match process.
Two Advanced Clinical Simulation Centers
Our campuses feature two state-of-the-art clinical simulation centers equipped with mock operating rooms, high-fidelity smart manikins, and immersive scenario-based classrooms. CEU’s OSCE assessments are fully certified by the National Conference of Medical School Deans, ensuring our students' clinical skills meet the highest national benchmarks.

Integrated MIR Preparation:
Commencing in Year 3
Starting in their third year, students receive comprehensive national residency exam training through our exclusive partnership with AMIR, Spain’s premier MIR preparation institution. AMIR boasts an exceptional success rate in the national residency match, with CEU students recently ranking within the Top 10 nationwide in the highly competitive MIR examination.
Backed by the FFOMC (Foundation of the Spanish Medical College)
CEU is one of the few medical programs guided and endorsed by the Foundation of the Spanish Medical College (FFOMC)—the coordinating umbrella organization for all medical associations across Spain. This prestigious endorsement represents the deepest possible alignment between CEU’s medical education and the Spanish healthcare ecosystem.
Clinical Rotations at 20+ Prestigious Teaching Hospitals
Our extensive network of partner hospitals spans Valencia and Eastern Spain. Students gain diverse clinical exposure across more than 20 leading public and private teaching hospitals, including Hospital La Fe, IVO, IMED, Quirón, Vithas, Dénia Salut, Hospital de la Ribera, Hospital General de Castellón etc.
Expert Diploma in Clinical Diagnostics: Tuition-Free from Year 3
Beginning in their third year, students can pursue the Expert Diploma in Integrated Medicine (Título de Experto en Medicina Integrada) completely tuition-free. This specialized program utilizes integrated case-based learning to sharply enhance students' diagnostic reasoning and treatment planning capabilities.
A Globally Connected Learning Environment
The CEU campus is a vibrant global melting pot, bringing together students from over 100 countries every day. To help future physicians build the bilingual communication skills essential for an international medical career, the program includes complimentary intensive English enhancement courses. At CEU, you are not just studying medicine—you are actively shaping a world-class professional portfolio that transcends borders.
