CEU Universities has received the maximum, five-star rating overall, gaining five stars in the categories of teaching, facilities, programme strength (for the Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine), global engagement, employability, good governance, social impact, diversity, equity & inclusion, and academic development.

QS Stars is an evaluation system to which numerous universities around the world voluntarily submit themselves in order to accredit their compliance with the demanding quality standards set by QS itself.

Ranked 4th among 32 Spanish universities in the 2022 Young University Rankings.

The ECA, the European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education, has awarded the University the Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQUINT), praising the University for its international and intercultural dimension and highlighting the quality of our internationalisation programmes.

ISO 9001:2015 certified for the following services at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine:

  • The processes at the Faculty Secretary's Office.

  • The clinical veterinary services at the Hospital Clínico Veterinario, including internal medicine, admission, laboratories, operating theatres, anaesthesia, the 24-hour emergency service, diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning), equine clinic, pathological anatomy, and veterinary care training.

ISO 9001:2015 is a quality management standard, specifying the requirements that organizations must fulfil. Adherence to this standard improves processes, increases stakeholder satisfaction and ensures that the organization concerned is always striving for excellence.

CEU UCH's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was the first faculty from a private university in Europe to achieve this distinction.

Being EAEVE-accredited means that the veterinary studies which are taught at the Faculty comply with the most stringent quality requirements established by the Education Committee of the European Union.

This international accreditation opens up a wealth of career opportunities for our Bachelor's Degree in Medicine students in the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, enabling them to sit the medical specialty exams in these countries.
